Editorial Policy
- The journal upholds the highest standards of editorial integrity and academic independence.
- All editorial decisions are made objectively, based solely on the submitted work’s scholarly merit, originality, and relevance.
- Editorial judgment is never influenced by advertising, sponsorship, institutional affiliation, or the authors’ personal or professional relationships.
- The Editorial Board is fully responsible for overseeing the peer review process, ensuring the quality and integrity of published content, and making final decisions regarding accepting or rejecting manuscripts.
- The Board comprises established experts in the journal’s subject areas, and their names, academic qualifications, and institutional affiliations are publicly available on the journal’s website.
- Editors are required to declare any potential conflicts of interest. In situations where a conflict exists, the concerned editor will recuse themselves from the review and decision-making process for that manuscript.
- The editorial office manages all correspondence with authors and reviewers. It ensures that peer review is conducted fairly, confidentially, and within a reasonable timeframe.
- The journal reserves the right to reject any manuscript, at any stage of the review or editorial process, that does not meet the journal’s scope, ethical standards, or quality requirements.
- Submissions to AMSS must follow the journal’s Style Guide APA, including formatting, length and references. Poorly written or structured papers will be promptly returned to the authors.
